Welcome to Shine Stained Glass

I’ve been a teacher of various subjects for over 40 years and I’ve been working with stained glass for about 30 About 15 years ago I decided to combine the skills and I think it was a good decision.

I now run stained glass workshops at my home and I really enjoy seeing the wonderful projects my students make. There are various styles and methods so I believe I can offer something for everyone and possibly even introduce you to a new hobby. As well as teaching I like to rescue old and broken stained glass panels. There’s something very satisfying about taking an old window and bringing it back to a beautiful new life. As I’m repairing the panels and often need to take them apart, I can offer you the perfect opportunity to have an antique window made to the size you require, either by cutting it down or adding an extra border, or even joining two panels together. I’m based in Watford in the south of Hertfordshire, near the M1, the M25 and the A41 so if you’d like to try something new, like to learn how to make a stained glass panel or, if you’re looking for a stained glass window but can’t find one the right size, do get in touch.
